I did a training on hygiene and good health at a popular school in Nigeria.
I saw a student crying from afar then I asked her
"Why are you crying...."
After much persuasion...
She said...
"I want to see like my fellow students"
She uses glasses and ever since she was 6year old, she has been on glasses 👓 .
At another school, I saw a 12year old kid who was rushed to the sick bay because she is asthmatic.
Between December 2017 and February 2018;
I must have seen upto 17 acute cases of respiratory, circulatory, pulmonary and skeletal abnormalities.
I have seen ton loads of kids on insulin injection.
I have seen kids who knows surgery than they know apple
I have seen kids who were in pain and agony.
I was tempted to ask like the disciples of old asked Jesus.... "John 9:2 KJV And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, #WHO_DID_SIN, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?" At the just concluded FREE NUTRITION NATIONWIDE TOUR that took place at WARRI, I found answers to some critical issues that are responsible for a major problem in the area. In the days ahead, I will divulge the info. Warri is gone..... Now, we really should ask ourselves the question? "Who did sin?" When you hear of small kids with one kidney.... When you hear of kids with holes in the heart.... When you hear of kids with lung diseases..... When you hear of kids with Diabetes..... We should ask....."Who did sin" Follow me closely..... After much reflection, I got the answer..... But, before I tell you my answer, can you guess WHO DID SIN? I'm sure you know..... Some would hinge it on village people.... Yes! Some would say it is Carelessness....I equally agree Some would say it is divine.....Ever heard statement like "God wants to make himself known'?. Now, I won't say a Yes. I will ask God some questions when we see him even though answers litters the scripture. I want to briefly deal with the ones we have direct control over..... WHO DID SIN? You and I! Yes.... We sinned and we are sinning..... We sinned when we fail to understand that there is a correlation between maternal pre-pregnancy nutrition and infants future health status. We sinned when we fail to plan for pregnancy. We sinned when we eat unwholesome foods before, during and after pregnancy. We sinned when we feed this innocent chaps on junks We sinned when we feed our grasses water and our young chaps carbonated drinks. Vegetables no longer have their healing effect? Yes we sinned! Some natural Fruits are more like taking processed fruits? We sinned when we neglect our farmers and taught them shortcut farming. Yes we sinned! To redeem us from this sin..... There is only one sacrifice! Only one! As many that understands this, sicknesses and diseases will be far from them. A nation that understands this, low childhood diseases will be equal to low health care cost. I'm particularly of the opinion that the only sacrifice for this sin is not the blood of Jesus but knowledge issue. The only sacrifice for this sin is to go back to WHOLESOME NUTRITION. IF we must indulge in synthetic lifestyle, it must not take precedence over nature. Many of us are not aware of these things and in the field of nutrition,experts in the field gave some Evangelist,apostles, some diet therapist and food guru, for the purpose of bringing this to your awareness on how to live healthily and to preserve the next generation. You can simply address me as apostle of Nutrition.
